What is Employees Provident Fund (EPF)

EPF is one of the most important savings systems in India, covering nearly all employees in the government, private, and public sectors. It is carried out by India's Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). Organisations with 20 or more employees are obliged to be enrolled with the PF Department. Contract representatives such as household management, security, or other contractual staff in the business are included in the potential of 20. Organisations who do not have the required number of employees but want to give the benefits of the Provident Fund to their employees can enrol spontaneously with the Regional Provident Fund Office. Registration must be completed within one month of 20 workers joining.
